Mushroom Lights

I wanted to share this version of the mushroom lights created by Michel Serra. He used my 3D model for the mushroom caps, and got funky with it, adding a lot of color to the mix!

Michel shared some great progress photos as well. That's always greqt to see.

Thanks for sharing Michel! If you haven't seen my tutorial video, check it out here :

Topographic Puzzles

Hey guys, check out these great Topographic Puzzles created by some awesome fans!

Reddit user kgndk made a puzzle out of the island of Elba. The organic border is a really fun twist on the idea!

Reddit user Kendrome made this fantastic puzzle of Telluride, Colorado. Using wood filament and staining the parts really elevated it to the next level! I personally like Hatchbox Wood Filament for it's tone and ease of printing.

Sasha (@Sokailu3D on Twitter) spent 200 hours printing this giant puzzle! I'm really liking the light grey filament with the wooden frame.

I'll keep adding fan puzzles here, so submit yours to the MACN subreddit to be featured!

Gear Ring and Candles by Neil Sawhney

MACN member /u/NeilSawhney has some pretty great 3D printing projects that I've got to share!

First, take a look at this ring he modeled based on a metal design by Kinekt Design. It was printed through Shapeways on an industrial machine that can achieve a much finer resolution than your average FDM machine. You can find a video of the ring in action on this website Neil put together.

Neil also made some great candle molds, including this Make Anything candle! He forgot to mirror the text on the mold, but that's how you learn (I've made the very same mistake with T-shirt iron-ons)!

Keep up the great work Neil, and thanks for sharing!
